This has been my favorite one of yours yet. The dog speak was hilarious.
And every pet owner knows that sound you made when the dog showed up at the front door.

mustachewax responds:

Right on man. Thanks!

I forgot about KiwisByBeat!
There were some great comics there. I was reading Modern Fried Snake when one day I went to the site and it no longer existed. The comic about the ramen chef was really good.(I forget the titles)
I totally forgot about Minus, though. Great stuff!

straberrykiler6789 responds:

Great Was name the comic in question and i saved all the comics but 3 of them have pieces missing though!
Might animate another comic from there,

Hardly any of modern fried snake was saved anywhere when it went offline we could only find about 70 JPEGs which seems like a lot until you consider the comic had about 1130 of these.
i got the first 250 or so from "MSand" and later nearly all of it from "Sho" on the mirrors comment sections.

Im quite impressed about going from 1% to 99%
there are people out there who have whats been lost its just a matter of finding them!

Being from the States, I know very little of Canadian history. This was very interesting and informative. Well done!

CodepoetMedia responds:

Thanks for taking the time to watch it! Well, there's a little taste of America in part two. Politicians in favour of Confederation used the fear of American invasions to push people into voting for it. Our smaller colonies in the Maritimes had a great relationship with the Americans whereas the central colonies (Ontario & Quebec) didn't. Wedge politics played a big role in the formation of our country and left some lasting marks that still exist today.

Loved this! Animation was smooth and the music fit well.

Side note: none of your links for the music are working.

vezanmatics responds:

Sorry about that, they're fixed now!

It takes a lot to hold my lizard-like attention span for 12+ minutes, but you got me. Interesting story and characters and a great score. A lot of animators don't pay enough attention to how the score can really bring life to a scene as much as the animation itself.
I look forward to learning where the story goes from here.

Xiphon responds:

That's a good thing, there's the potential that future episodes might even end up being a little longer

It would have been far too easy to bash Teen Titans Go or Steven Universe. It seems to be what all the cool kids are doing nowadays. And the Ponies have been getting ripped from the start,
The thing I love about this is that you covered all your bases. You got the whole lineup.

GruntVonVeizatun responds:

Generalissimo Grunt is free of all prejudice...he hates everyone equally. Thanks for noticing though, I intentionally included as many cartoons as possible to cover as much ground as I could.

I'll go with #9

rubberonion responds:

Thanks for voting!

Almost had to go with #2 because, as I lived through it, I am also so glad that's over. I think I have to go with #10, though.

rubberonion responds:

haha 90s woodstock flashbacks.. thanks for voting!

I think this was the best battle yet. So many good entries.
That said, I'll have to go with #4. Greatest magical fail I've seen.

rubberonion responds:

thanks for voting! this was an amazing month of submissions!

Got to go with #2.
